to offer you all the flora and fauna, water
activities, exhibitions, and shows of the area. Our tour is from 8:30
am to 9:00 pm and includes all the access following activities:
Aquarium - Explore the world at the bottom of the sea without getting wet. This tranquil spot teaches you the importance of various types of reefs and shows you some amazing marine plants and animals
Butterfly Pavilon - Xcaret’s Butterfly Pavilion is the first butterfly nursery in Mexico and, with its 37,600 square feet of tropical vegetation and almost 50-foot high ceilings, is one of the largest in the world.
Deer Shelter - There are many mammal species in Xcaret that provide some wonderful experiences during your visit as you open a window into their world. White Tail and Brocket deer, a miniature variety, with their fawn can be seen at the park.
Jaguar Island - Jaguars, hunters by nature, play amongst the islands’ large, leafy trees. Telescopes are strategically placed to provide the best views of these strong, graceful cats
Mushroom Farm - At the Mushroom Farm you will learn the cultivation process of the Pleurotus mushroom, an edible and very tasty mushroom.
Tapir House - Meet our friendly tapir named Poloc, which means chubby in Maya. This is one of the rarest and least known species in our Eco Park
Regional Wildlife Enclosure - This area is filled with hundreds of birds and different species of regional wildlife, some of which are in danger of extinction.
The Underground Rivers attraction of Xcaret invites you to explore their crystalline waters and marvel at this ancient creation of Mexican Nature. Dare to explore and enjoy an experience that is unique in the world.
Lagoon - Between the jungle and the beach, a quiet lagoon shimmers. The air is filled with the exotic sounds of tropical birds that inhabit several small islets dotting the lagoon and the dense tropical vegetation that surrounds it.
Beach - Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation and rest at the Cancun Mexico Beach in Xcaret surrounded by the charm of the tropical palapas and palm trees. The Beach at Xcaret is definitely the perfect place for those who want to relax body and spirit.
Inlets - Xcaret means little inlet,and it owes its name to this enchanting sea water entrance which forms an Inlet of beautiful blue tones, home to hundreds of tropical fish and a sacred site for Mayan culture.
You can find archaeological sites at Xcaret where you will discover the vestiges of the rich cultural heritage that these incredible mathematicians, astronomers and architects left to mankind.
Xcaret opens the doors so you can walk into Mayan daily life and invites you
to travel through time visiting a replica of a Mayan
Village.

Underground
Rivers - The Paradise River, one of our most recent and
enjoyable Xcaret Attractions, has become a favorite of those who want to
experience one of Xcaret´s rivers without getting wet.
During
the 20 minute ride, an oarsman from the region will take you through the
Paradise River and the Tropical Jungle Trail where you will be able to view deer,
howling monkeys, macaws and iguanas as well as the
richness of the Cancun

Xcaret Scenic Tower - Go up into the sky in our Scenic Tower. Admire the breathtaking view of Mexico´s Sacred Paradise from where the sky, the Caribbean ocean and the Riviera Maya come together in a circular landscape that goes beyond the reach of human eyes. Xcaret´s Scenic Tower has a capacity for 72 passengers and goes up to 80 meters above ground.
Ball Game Show - One of Xcaret’s objectives is to disseminate the culture heritage of the Mexican people and the Mayan culture. At sunset, the Park is transformed with wonderful shows, including the pre-Hispanic ball game announced by the tankules (wooden drums) that resound through the afternoon silence
Papantla Flyers - Four bird men of
Totonacan blood will descend from
the top of the universal tree, doing circles in the air. 30 meters above ground
the leader dances and plays pre-Hispanic instruments.
These are the Papantla flyers
worshipping the Sun God. This impressive
show of courage and faith of the Papantla fliers at Xcaret is an ancient
ceremony which originated in the state of Veracruz in the Gulf of Mexico to ask
for a good harvest and fertility.
In the afternoons, we invite you to the magnificent equestrian show
where you will witness a splendid demonstration of the skills, colors and
festive
atmosphere that usually surround the charreadas or equestrian
tradition shows.
The hacienda, the stables, and La Cocina restaurant of the Mexican
corner in Xcaret are the perfect
surroundings of the performing arena where
daring charros and adelitas and their horses will surprise you with the charro
shows of skill.
The Xcaret Spectacular Mexico Night Show is without a doubt the best folklore show in Mexico and the best known worldwide. When the sun sets, the call of the mystical pre-Hispanic drums and the melancholic sound of the sea shells will invite you to enjoy our Spectacular Night Show. It is a splendid feast of color, sound and traditions.

Yes, we will send you a map with instructions on how to get there. From the Cancun hotel zone your approximate travel time will be about 1hour 15 minutes. We do sell tickets only for Xcaret avoid crowds to buy the

What is the Xcaret
Night Show?
The Xcaret Night Show is spectacle with over 250 performers. You will see traditional dances from all over the
country of Mexico. It is a fabulous show.
I see that there is lot of things to do in Xcaret. Do we get to go and do
as we please or is this an organized tour?
You will arrive by tour bus but once inside Xcaret, the day is yours to spend as
you please, the guide will give you very good tips to enjoy Xcaret at most. We do recommend that you select and do the things that interest you the most first. The reason is that there are so many things to do in
Xcaret that you will probably run out of time and energy before you do all the different options.
Is any food
or drink included?
Food is only included in the Xcaret Plus tour which does include a buffet lunch. Other than that, no
food or drink is included.
Is the water cold in the subterranean river?
The water is cool. Temperature will be about 72 degrees
Is
the water salty in the subterranean river?
NO. the water is some of the freshest water and clearest water in the world. The
water is from the underground spring system that flows under the entire Yucatan peninsula.
How is the
snorkeling at Xcaret?
Xcaret has some fabulous snorkeling. Bring your own gear or rent gear while in the park. But
snorkeling in Xcaret is a must.
What happens once I reserve?
Once you send in a reservation with your credit card we will charge your card the amount of the tour. Then we will send you a coupon which you will print and bring with you to be given to the driver at the time of pickup. The coupon is your proof of purchase and will have a unique confirmation number and coupon number on it and an emergency phone number to call if something goes wrong.
