Our tour departs from your
hotel in first class air-conditioned bus and tour guide. It will take
approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to Xel Ha.
The Xel Ha Park has created a Tour to offer you all the flora and fauna, water
activities, exhibitions, and shows of the area. Our tour is from 9:30 am to
5:00pm pm and includes all the access following

Flight of Mo Extreme Adventure - In the depths of the Mayan jungle Xel-Ha offers an amazing experience for the adrenaline loving adventurer. Set in the Aventura Cenote surrounded by the most beautiful vegetation and glorious tropical sun we offer you the Flight of MO, the macaw guardian of the skies which according to Mayan legends had the duty of taking care of the trees. The Cliff of Courage - Is one of the park’s most extreme activities, located next to the river’s bridge it stands alone, a 5 meter jump to the river below. The excitement begins once the adventurer reaches the edge and stares into the sandy bottom of the clear blue river; the river at this point has 4 meters in depth and is apt for diving.Children’s Play Ground - Age is not a factor in Xel-Ha. There is fun for everyone at the park. Children of all ages that visit us will find a safe place to run, play and have fun. This magnificent natural playground in paradise has many slides, swings, handrails and tires to keep children active and entertained at all times. Xel- Ha River - Is fed by a labyrinth of tiny, underground fresh-water springs, and flows gently through the mangroves as it approaches the Bay of Caprices making possible the existence of a variety of aquatic species. To follow the course of the river either snorkeling or just drifting on an inner tube relaxing under the sun is an experience you can´t miss. Rope Crossing - Have fun and taste your balance above the blue waters of Xel-Ha.
The Rope Crossing consists of walking between two ropes, separated by 5 feet from each other, hanging over the crystal clear waters of Xel-Ha. If you choose to take the challenge you will have to walk more than 54 yards without falling. Natual Atractions in Xel Ha: Nursery - Rustic and built from the region´s raw materials, the Nursery has several projects intended for preservation of the natural reserve as well as programs in our educational forum intended to educate our visitors on the vast flora we protect in Xel-Ha. Cenotes are truly one of Mexico´s most beautiful and exotic landscapes and are unique to the Riviera. The word Cenote comes from the word Dzonot which means water cavity. Cenotes were of great importance because not only were they sacred places but they were the only way of reaching fresh water in the jungle. There exists a whole variety of Cenotes ranging from pools of clear water to underwater caves and passages that contain the precious resource that is water. Mayan Cave - The Mayan world was upside down. Heaven was below ground in an ´underworld´ of caves, guarded by fantastic beasts and gods. The religious beliefs of the ancient Mayas always represented a sort of cyclic duality which was explained to them by nature itself. Caves had a very significant importance in their culture because they were considered to be a portal of communication with their gods, a characteristic true of many ancient Mesoamerican cultures such as the Maya. Grotto Ixchel - Goddess I of the codices, she is said to be Goddess of the Moon, Wife of the Sun and a High Deity of Reproduction. Ixchel was the greatest Mayan goddess, her numeric and symbolic ascendancy refers to a variety of sacred nuclei in terrestrial and celestial orders. Grotto El Dorado - Five million years ago, the 84 hectares that encompass the park were below sea level. One-hundred and twenty-five million years ago, the Wisconsin Glacier ground the sea bed into the exotic and fascinating formations we see today, compressing the rock and limestone beds and creating the Inlet. Floating Bridge - The 80 meter floating bridge is an opportunity to get face to face with nature and to relax in the calm breeze that enters from the sea. Our Floating Bridge at Xel-Ha is an engineering masterpiece and we are proud to say that no other water park has such a spectacular bridge. Mayan Wall - A remnant from the days as a port of Xel-Ha, the Archaeological Zone displays the products that made Mayan commerce flow making the Mayan empire thrive and become one of Mexico´s cultural jewels.
The wall marked the limit for the port of Xel-Ha in ancient times and was constructed with the typical limestone used in Mayan architecture. The Inlet - At Xel-Ha we wish to offer you the comfort of experiencing the underwater adventure of the Inlet by renting full snorkel equipment, including: mask, fins, safety jacket, and with the rental of the snorkel equipment the park gives you a brand new snorkel, just for you.
The Inlet adventure is one for everyone to enjoy, even our less experienced swimmers which can float along the current with the protection of a safety jacket and a mask and snorkel that will reveal the true nature of Xel-Ha.

a 15 minutes explanation of the
location of the facilities by our
tour guide, and then you will have free time on your own for the rest of the

The “all inclusive" package
includes the park’s entrance
fees, food and drinks at bar and restaurant of choice, the use of towels,
lockers and snorkeling gear (with cash deposit).
Optional activities are not included: swimming with
dolphins, snuba, snorkeling tour, open water diving.

Questions about the hotel pickup
From what hotels do you pick up in Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya?
We pick up from all hotels in and around Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya. We will send you a pickup time when you reserve but most pick ups are between 7:20 AM and 8:00 AM.
How do I take this tour from Isla Mujeres?
You will need to take the ferry
from Isla Mujeres to the ferry terminal at Puerto Juarez where we pick up. Pick up time is at 7:15 AM so you will need to catch a ferry that arrives before that time. Both ferry terminals in Puerto Juarez have scheduled
pick up times at 7:15 AM.
How do I take this tour from Puerto Juarez?
Puerto Juarez hotels are part of the regular Cancun pick up. We will send you pick up time when you reserve.
You may also go to either ferry terminal in
Puerto Juarez for a 7:15 AM pickup.
How many people are on the bus?
The buses hold a maximum of 53 people.
Does the bus have a washroom?
Most of the buses we use for the Xel-Ha tour do have
bathrooms on board. However some do not.
Do you have group discounts?
Yes. Groups begin with a few as 10 people so please ask.
How is your tour better than all the other tours
you find on the internet?
While Xel-Ha is the same regardless of the tour you take, we pride ourselves on excellent service and experienced guides, and a complete
“all inclusive package” and we make every effort to make your tour enjoyable. Our buses are comfortable and your guides are professionals. Also some other tours have a longer waiting time before you actually depart
for Xel-Ha.
What types of food and drinks are included?
The lunch includes salads, breads, and Yucatan regional dishes of chicken and pork as well as hamburgers, and hot dogs. There will be sufficient variety of foods from which to choose where all will
find something to their liking. There are several restaurants and even your ice cream is included. You will enjoy the lunch and you will encounter a new cuisine, but delightful. Drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are
included, and yes it is open bar. Water is also included in the all inclusive package, of which we recommend you drink plenty.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
About 60% of Xel-Ha is accessible by wheel chair.
