DAY 1 (THURSDAY)

MEXICO CITY

Transfer to the hotel and free time.

DAY 2 (FRIDAY)

MEXICO CITY - TEOTHIHUACAN - MEXICO CITY

We will begin our tour by visiting the Plaza de las Tres Culturas (Plaza of the Three Cultures) and continue to the impressive archaeological site of Teotihuacan. We will visit a craft center. On our return to the city, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Return to the hotel and the rest of the day is free.

DAY 3 (SATURDAY)

MEXICO CITY - TEPOZTLÁN - CUERNAVACA - TAXCO

We depart for Tepoztlán, located next to a large green hill, which has a small pyramid (we will not visit it). Time for a stroll. We continue to Cuernavaca, where you can visit the Palace of Hernán Cortés and the cathedral. Time for lunch. We continue to Taxco, time to visit the city and overnight stay.

DAY 4 (SUNDAY)

TAXCO - CHILPANCINGO - ACAPULCO

We travel through the mountains to Chilpancingo de los Bravos. Our guide will accompany you to the regional museum. We continue to Acapulco, with time to enjoy lunch on its popular beach. In the afternoon, we include entrance to and a visit to La Fortaleza. Transfer to the hotel and free time.

DAY 5 (MONDAY)

ACAPULCO - ZIHUTANEJO

We continue our route along the Pacific coast. Arrival in Zihuatanejo, a charming tourist destination. We include a boat trip to Playa de las Gatas, where you will have the opportunity to swim, relax, and have lunch. Return by boat, accommodation, and free time.

DAY 6 (TUESDAY)

ZIHUTANEJO - JANITZIO - PATZCUARO

After deserts, we enter the state of Michoacán with its verdant mountains. Arrival at Lake Pátzcuaro, where we board a boat that takes us to Janitzio Island, inhabited by the Purépecha community. Time for lunch, strolling through its traditional streets, and, if you wish, climbing to the imposing statue of José María Morelos. Return by boat and arrival in Pátzcuaro

DAY 7 (WEDNESDAY)

PÁTZCUAR - MORELIA - CUITZEO DEL PORVENIR - GUADALAJARA

We will depart for Morelia, the capital of Michoacán. We continue our route to Cuitzeo del Porvenir, next to the second largest lake in Mexico. We continue to Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco, a colonial city, the birthplace of Mariachis and Tequila.

DAY 8 (THURSDAY)

GUADALAJARA - TEQUILA - GUADALAJARA

Panoramic tour of Guadalajara including entrance to the Hospicio Cabañas, a World Heritage Site. After that, we travel to Tequila where we ll have time for lunch, a stroll, and a visit to a distillery of this strong, quintessentially Mexican spirit. Return to Guadalajara, free afternoon.

DAY 9 (FRIDAY)

GUADALAJARA - GUANAJUATO

Arrival in Guanajuato. In the afternoon, we include a visit to this university city with its beautiful steep and narrow streets, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We also include a funicular ride to admire the views from El Pipila.

DAY 10 (SATURDAY)

GUANAJUATO - DOLORES HIDALGO - ATOTONILCO - SAN MIGUEL ALLENDE - QUERETARO

We travel through the mountains to Dolores Hidalgo, the cradle of Mexican independence. Afterward, we will visit the Sanctuary of Atotonilco and San Miguel de Allende, a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage city. Arrival in the mid-afternoon in the lively colonial city of Querétaro.

DAY 11 (SUNDAY)

QUERETARO - TULA - PUEBLA

We will depart for Tula, the ancient capital of the Toltecs, where we will include a visit and entrance to its archaeological site. Arrival in Puebla, a historic city known for its colonial architecture and its bustling main square.

DAY 12 (MONDAY)

PUEBLA - MONTE ALBAN - OAXACA

We travel to Oaxaca. Arrival in the late morning and included visit to this impressive city of Aztec origin. Entrance and visit to the Monte Albán archaeological site, the grandest of the Zapotec cities located in the Oaxaca Valley. Return to Oaxaca and free time.

DAY 13 (TUESDAY)

OAXACA - SAN PABLO VILLA DE MITLA - TUXTLA

Amid mountainous landscapes and small towns, we arrive at the Magical Town of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. We continue through the mountains of Oaxaca. Lunch included. Arrival in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of the state of Chiapas.

DAY 14 (WEDNESDAY)

TUXTLA - SUMIDERO CANYON - CHIAPA DE CORZO - ZINACATAN - SAN JUAN DE CHAMULA - SAN CRISTOBAL

At Sumidero Canyon, we ll take a boat to navigate the impressive canyon. We ll then visit Chiapa de Corzo. Afterward, we ll explore the towns with strong Mayan cultural traditions, Zinacantan and San Juan Chamula. Finally, we ll arrive in San Cristobal de las Casas, a beautiful colonial city. Free afternoon.

DAY 15 (THURSDAY)

SAN CRISTOBAL - OCOSINGO - AGUA AZUL - MISOL HA - PALENQUE

We will travel through the mountainous landscapes of the Chiapas interior, in traditional areas inhabited by Mayan communities. Stop in Ocosingo. Afterward, entrance to Agua Azul National Park. Lunch included. We hike among waterfalls at Misol Ha. Continue to Palenque. Dinner included.

DAY 16 (FRIDAY)

PALENQUE - CAMPECHE

We will visit the impressive archaeological site of the Mayan city of Palenque. Afterward, we travel to the Gulf of Mexico through the state of Tabasco. Campeche, arrival in this Mexican port city known for its colonial buildings and impressive fortifications. Dinner included.

DAY 17 (SATURDAY)

CAMPECHE - MERIDA

We depart for the state of Yucatán. Arrival in Mérida, and visit to the state capital with its rich colonial and Mayan heritage. Free afternoon. In the evening, we include a transfer to the Zócalo with time to enjoy dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 18 (SUNDAY)

MERIDA - IZAMAL - CHICHEN ITZA - RIO LAGARTOS

Today we will explore the state of Yucatán. Our first stop will be the magical town of Izamal. We will visit Chichen Itza, the most important vestige of the Mayan civilization. A typical Mayan lunch is included. Afterward, we travel to the fishing village and Biosphere Reserve of Río Lagartos.

DAY 19 (MONDAY)

RIO LAGARTOS - VALLADOLID - CENOTE CHOJ HA - CANCUN

In the morning, we will take a boat trip into the mangrove forest and observe birds. Afterward, we travel to Valladolid, with its charming historic center. In the afternoon, we will visit the Choj Ha cenote, with its jungle, dry cave, and interior lake. Arrival in Cancun at the end of the day.
