Transfer to the hotel and free time

DAY 2

(SATURDAY)

MEXICO CITY

Panoramic tour of Mexico City. Afterward, transfer to the Basilica of Guadalupe. In the afternoon, in Xochimilco, we will take a ride on a trajinera, a boat overflowing with flowers. Evening transfer to the lively Plaza Garibaldi with dinner included.

DAY 3

(SUNDAY)

MEXICO CITY – EX HACIENDA CHAUTLA - CHOLULA - PUEBLA

En route, we visit the Ex Hacienda de Chautla, famous for its English-style castle situated in the middle of an artificial lake surrounded by forests. We continue our route to the very picturesque Cholula. Later, we travel to Puebla, a historic city known for its culinary traditions and colonial architecture. Overnight in this vibrant and active city.

DAY 4

(MONDAY)

PUEBLA - MONTE ALBAN - OAXACA

We travel to Oaxaca. Arrival in the late morning and included visit to this impressive city of Aztec origin. Entrance and visit to the Monte Albán site, the grandest of the Zapotec cities located in the Oaxaca Valley. Return to Oaxaca and free time.

DAY 5

(TUESDAY)

OAXACA - SAN PABLO DE VILLA MITLA - TUXTLA

Amidst mountainous landscapes and small towns, we arrive at the Magical Town of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. We continue through the mountains of Oaxaca. Lunch included. Arrival in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of the state of Chiapas.

DAY 6

(WEDNESDAY)

TUXTLA - SUMIDERO CANYON - CHIAPA DE CORZO - ZINACANTAN - SAN JUAN DE CHAMULA - SAN CRISTOBAL

At Sumidero Canyon, we ll take a boat to navigate the impressive canyon. We ll then visit Chiapa de Corzo. Afterward, we ll explore the towns with strong Mayan cultural traditions, Zinacantan and San Juan de Chamula. Finally, we ll arrive in San Cristóbal de las Casas, a beautiful colonial city. Free afternoon.

DAY 7

(THURSDAY)

SAN CRISTOBAL - OCOSINGO - AGUA AZUL - MISO HA - PALENQUE

We will travel through the mountainous landscapes of inland Chiapas, in traditional areas inhabited by Mayan communities. Stop in Ocosingo. After that, entrance to Agua Azul National Park. Lunch included. We walk among waterfalls in Misol Ha. Continue to Palenque. Dinner included.

DAY 8

(FRIDAY)

PALENQUE – CAMPECHE

We explore the impressive archaeological site of the Mayan city of Palenque. Afterward, we travel to the Gulf of Mexico through the state of Tabasco. We arrive in Campeche, a Mexican port city known for its colonial buildings and impressive fortifications. Dinner is included.

DAY 9

(SATURDAY)

CAMPECHE – MERIDA

We depart for the state of Yucatán. We arrive in Mérida and visit the state capital, with its rich colonial and Mayan heritage. The afternoon is free. In the evening, we include a transfer to the Zócalo (main square) with time to enjoy dinner. Accommodation.

DAY 10

(SUNDAY)

MERIDA – IZAMAL - CHICHEN ITZA – RIO LAGARTOS

Today we will explore the state of Yucatán. We will stop first in the magical town of Izamal. We will visit the most important vestige of the Mayan civilization, Chichen Itza. A typical Mayan lunch is included. After that, we travel to the fishing village and Biosphere Reserve of Río Lagartos.

DAY 11

(MONDAY)

RIO LAGARTOS - VALLADOLID - CENOTE CHOJ HA - CANCUN

In the morning, we ll take a boat trip, immersing ourselves in the mangrove forests and observing the birds. Afterward, we ll travel to Valladolid, with its charming historic center. In the afternoon, we ll visit the Choj Ha cenote, with its jungle, dry cave, and indoor lake. Arrival in Cancun at the end of the day.

DAY 12
