DAY 1 SUNDAY

Welcome to Mexico! Transfer to the hotel and free time.

DAY 2 MONDAY

MEXICO CITY

Panoramic tour of Mexico City. Afterward, transfer to the Basilica of Guadalupe. In the afternoon, we will take a ride in a trajinera a boat decked out with flowers in Xochimilco. Evening transfer to the lively Plaza Garibaldi, with dinner included.

DAY 3 TUESDAY

MEXICO CITY - EL ORO DE HIDALGO - DOS ESTRELLAS MINES - TLALPUJAHUA - PÁTZCUARO

We travel to the picturesque "Magical Town" of El Oro de Hidalgo. We continue our route to the Dos Estrellas Mine to learn about the region s mining heritage. Arrival in Tlalpujahua, known for its Christmas decoration manufacturing. We then proceed to Pátzcuaro, one of Mexico s most beautiful colonial cities.

DAY 4 WEDNESDAY

PÁTZCUARO - MORELIA - CUITZEO DEL PORVENIR - GUADALAJARA

We depart for Morelia, the capital of Michoacán. We continue our journey to Cuitzeo del Porvenir, located next to Mexico s second largest lake.

We continue to Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco a colonial city and the birthplace of mariachi music and tequila.

DAY 5: THURSDAY

GUADALAJARA - TEQUILA - GUADALAJARA

A panoramic tour of Guadalajara, including admission to the Hospicio Cabañas, a World Heritage Site. Afterward, we travel to Tequila, where we will have time for lunch, a stroll, and a visit to a distillery producing this potent spirit so emblematic of Mexico. Return to Guadalajara; the afternoon is at leisure.

DAY 6 FRIDAY

GUADALAJARA - GUANAJUATO

Arrival in Guanajuato. In the afternoon, we include a visit to this university city—a World Heritage Site featuring beautiful, narrow, steep streets. We include a funicular ride to admire the views from El Pípila.

DAY 7 SATURDAY

GUANAJUATO - DOLORES HIDALGO - ATOTONILCO - SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - QUERÉTARO

We travel through the mountains to Dolores Hidalgo, the birthplace of Mexican independence. Afterward, we visit the Sanctuary of Atotonilco and San Miguel de Allende, a beautiful World Heritage city. Mid-afternoon arrival in the lively colonial city of Querétaro.

DAY 8 SUNDAY

QUERÉTARO - TULA - PUEBLA - VAL QUIRICO - MEXICO CITY

We depart for Tula, the ancient Toltec capital, where we include a visit and admission to the archaeological site. Arrival in Puebla, a historic city known for its colonial architecture and bustling main square (zócalo). We then head to Val Quirico, a tourist destination inspired by the European countryside. Arrival in Mexico City in the late afternoon.

MEXICO CITY / PUEBLA

After breakfast, our services conclude.
