From what hotels do you pick up in Cancun?
We pick up from all hotels in and around Cancun, the Hotel Zone, Downtown, Puerto Juarez, Playa del Carmen and Mayan Riviera. We will send you a pickup time when you reserve but most pick ups are between 7:15 AM and 8:00 AM.

How do I take this tour from Isla Mujeres?
You will need to take the ferry from Isla Mujeres to the ferry terminal at Puerto Juarez where we pick up. Pick up time is at 7:15 AM so you will need to catch a ferry that arrives before that time. Both ferry terminals in Puerto Juarez have scheduled pick up times at 7:15 AM.

Puerto Juarez hotels are part of the regular Cancun pick up. We will send you pick up time when you reserve.
You may also go to either ferry terminal in Puerto Juarez for a 7:15 AM pickup.

Questions about
the tour

What is the difference between the deluxe, the classic and the economic Chichen Itza tour?
The deluxe tour is on a bus with a bathroom and newspapers and magazines and a continental breakfast
and tour guide service all day.
The classic tour is on a bus with air conditioning but no bathroom and no newspapers, magazines or continental breakfast and tour guide service all day.
The economic tour is on a bus with air conditioning but no bathroom and no newspapers, magazines or continental breakfast, no cenote and no tour guide until you arrive to the archaeological site.

How long the drive is to the Chichen Itza Site?
The actual drive time to the site in the a bus is about 2 ½ hours.

How long do you stay at the site?
You will be at the Chichen Ruins 2 ½ hours.

How long are you at Cenote?
You will be at the Cenote 30 minutes.

How far in advance should the tour be booked?
When you know your vacation schedule we recommend you make your tour reservations. This tour we recommend you reserve one week in advance.

How many people are on the bus?
The buses hold a maximum of 53 people.

Does the bus have a washroom?
The buses on the Chichen Itza Plus tour do have restrooms. The buses on the Chichen Itza Regular tour do not have restrooms.

Do we get to swim at the cenote or sinkhole?
Yes. So bring your suit and a towel. Your time is limited (45 minutes) but it is a great refreshing place to cool.

Can I climb to the top of the large pyramid in Chichen Itza?
The large pyramid in Chichen Itza is called “El Castillo” or “The Castle,” and NO you are no longer allowed to climb it. There is a safety issue as so many people have climbed the pyramid that the steps have been worn extremely smooth. So in the interest of safety – since the steps are extremely steep and extremely smooth – you will not be allowed to climb to the top.

Do you have group discounts?
Yes. Groups begin with a few as 10 people so please ask.

How is your tour better than all the other tours you find on the internet?
While Chichen Itza is the same regardless of the tour you take, we pride ourselves on excellent service and experienced guides that will make every effort to make your tour enjoyable.

What is on the buffet lunch ?
The lunch includes salads, breads, and Yucatan regional dishes of chicken and pork.

Questions about reservations and cancellations

How do I know you have space available?
If you reserve 7 to 10 days in advance you have a 100% chance we have space for you. We recommend you send in your reservation, complete with your credit card information, and if space is not available we will call or email you with when space is available. So be sure to include your phone number on your reservation form.

How much in advance can I make the reservation?
We do recommend you make your reservations as far in advance as possible so that you are sure to get the trip when you want to go. There are many times we have no space available 4-5 days in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel any trip or tour up to 48 hours before departure and only pay a 5% administrative processing fee. If the trip or tour is cancelled by the operator you will receive a 100% refund or we will reschedule at your request.

I send in a reservation with my credit card and what happens?
Once you send a reservation we confirm that there is space available. Then we charge your card. We then put the confirmation number on a coupon or voucher and send it to you in an email. You print it and that is your paid receipt for the tour. You present the coupon at check in.

Should I send in my credit card with the reservation?
Yes because you have a much better chance of getting the tour the less time that goes by before the departure. If there is no space available we will not charge your credit card but advise when the tour is available closest to the date you want. If you send in a reservation form without a credit card number inquiring about availability then we respond, simply more time passes giving the tour more time to fill up. Again once you are ready to reserve it is best to send your reservation with a credit card. Please remember no reservation is made until we have payment via your credit card or by other means.

How can I check the status of my reservation?
It is our objective that you know what is happening with your reservation. We will send you an update if we are going to be than 48 hours getting you a response. If 48 hours has gone by and you have gotten no update or coupon please call
1 866 97 85 985 from the USA and Canada or +52-998-848-17-80 from the rest of the world. If you are already in Cancun our local number is 848-17-80 and if you are outside Cancun dial 1 866 97 85 985.
