Mayan Heritage (5 Days)

DAY 1 (MONDAY)

CANCUN - TULUM - KOHUNLICH - CHICANNA

Departure from Cancun to Chicanna, on the way we will visit the archaeological zone of Tulum, built in front of the Caribbean Sea, having as protection a great wall, as well as the second largest reef in the world. Considered one of the last Mayan cities, which collapsed in 1600 AD. We will continue to Kohunlich, where we will find beautiful stucco masks, the ball game, as well as the square of the stelae. Continuation to the Chicanná area, famous for its temples with zoomorphic features. Overnight in Xpuhil or Chicanná.

DAY 2 (TUESDAY)

CHICANNA - BECAN - PALENQUE

06:30 am: Departure from Chicanná to visit the archaeological zone of Becán, which means “barranca” in Mayan, a name that alludes to the moat that surrounds the central part of the area, later we will move to the Misol waterfall- Where you can swim in its refreshing waters. At the end of the visit we will continue to Palenque.

DAY 3º (WEDNESDAY)

Departure to visit the archaeological zone of Palenque, a place nestled in the Chiapas jungle. The striking thing about this area is the famous tomb of the Pakal ruler, inside the temple of the inscriptions, designed specifically for his death. We will continue to Campeche, a beautiful city surrounded by walls to defend against pirates. Overnight in Campeche.

DAY 4 (THURSDAY)

CAMPECHE - EDZNA - UXMAL - MÉRIDA

Departure from Campeche to visit the archaeological zone of Edzná, with its beautiful building of the Ambassadors, where the great acoustics of its construction are admired. Continuation to the state of Yucatan to visit one of the most beautiful Mayan cities for its decoration: Uxmal. Departure to Mérida to spend the night.

DAY 5 (FRIDAY)

MÉRIDA - CHICHEN ITZA - CANCUN

Departure to one of the new seven wonders of the modern world: Chichén Itzá, a place in which the Mayans combine their knowledge to fascinate us with the descent of Kukulcán, a phenomenon of light and shadow that occurs during the spring equinoxes and fall. Continuation to Cancun / Riviera Maya.
